FAQ

How can I get a ticket to the festival?

Everyone must pre-register in order to attend the festival.  Please register as soon as possible so that we can plan the festival according to everyone's needs. You may click here to register.

What kind of programming will run at the festival?

All of the festival's performances and workshops are either related to Jewish culture or connection to the land. Some of our performers include Asefa, Matt Temkin, Stereo Sinai, Szelrosza, Fish Street Klezmer and Pete Rushefsky. Our workshops will cover a range of topics including cooking, dance, diaspora language workshops, holistic life-training, hide-stretching and other naturalistic skills.

Where will people sleep?

We will allow a maximum of 75 people camping on the property. The camp site is in a shaded corridor between two wooded areas. Although people are encouraged to bring their own tents, there will be tents available for rent and/or for purchase. For those who wish to attend the festival without camping, there will be a shuttle transporting people back and forth from a local hotel.

What will we eat?

People are encouraged to bring their own food as well as coolers, portable grills and stoves. For those who do not bring anything, there will be ice, grills, stoves and coolers to buy or rent and there will be fresh raw ingredients for sale. Those who wish to pre-order kosher pasture-raised poultry will have the option to pick it up at the event.

How will the Sabbath be observed?

In order to accommodate diverse values, there will be both Orthodox and Egalitarian minyanim (prayer groups) available. Although there will not be any live musical performances scheduled, certain minyanim might use instruments during prayer and some people may privately choose to play un-amplified music on the property. We are looking forward to large, communal meals all together with much singing and rejoicing.
