Beginner's Yiddish: May 29 - July 1

Cost: $2,400 (Includes room and board + programming fees + full-time Yiddish teacher)

Participants in this program will receive over 120 hours of direct instruction in order to learn enough Yiddish to get by in an immersive environment. This will include grammar, theater, creative writing and song. As the program advances, less time is spent in class and more time is spent doing activities in Yiddish. Since this will require a full-time Yiddish teacher, this program is more expensive than the advanced program. Applicants need not know any Yiddish to apply.

Advanced Yiddish: July 1 - August 20

Cost: $2,000 (Includes room and board + programming fees)

Applicants must be prepared to speak only in Yiddish for the duration of the program. We will spend part of the day working on the farm and part of the day involved in cultural programming or agricultural workshops. We will have literature circles, theater rehearsals, fermentation workshops, and lectures in Yiddish on a variety of topics.
